The map will be produced by offset printing technique. The map was used for long distance qualification at WOC 2006.

Follow signs at main route A15 approximately 7 kilometres east of Silkeborg.

| Terrain: |
Planted deciduous and coniferous forest of different ages with a well-developed road and path net. The ground is firm and clear. The visibility and runnability is generally good. There are only a few rock features. The area is hilly with up to 75 meters difference.

All runners who are members of a club or a federation under I.O.F.
Only members of Danish orienteering clubs can obtain a medal in the Danish Championship.

| Restrictions: |
If more than 60 runners register for W21/M21 the organisers can select the top 60 runners based on the IOF ranking list and the remaining runners will be offered to participate in the entry on the day courses instead.

| Medals: |
Championship medals can only be received by members of a club under Danish Orienteering Federation and who is a citizen of or has been registered as living in Denmark for an unbroken period since 31 December 2008 until the date of the event.

First starting time in M 21: 9:30, and W 21: 10:00.
|
| Punching and Timing system: |
SportIdent is used.
Runners in M 21 must use SI-Cards with a capacity to store up to 60 controls (numbers between 500.000 - 1.000.000).
Runners in W 21 can use SI-Cards of the normal type (numbers up to 500.000) as well.
Runners using their own SI-card must submit card number upon registration. Other runners will rent a SI-Card of the organizers, who will hand it out at start. A rented SI-Card must be returned at finish. Not returned or lost SI-Cards will be charged with DKK 480 for M21 - and DKK 280 for W 21-. Runners who forgot their SI-Card can rent one in the competition center for DKK 50 for M 21 and DKK 30 for W 21.
